Jung Kook Fronts Calvin Klein’s Bold Capsule Launch

Calvin Klein, the American designer brand under PVH Corp., has launched a limited-edition capsule collection in collaboration with South Korean singer-songwriter Jung Kook, the youngest member of global K-pop phenomenon BTS.

This collaboration marks Jung Kook’s debut in fashion, extending his ongoing partnership with Calvin Klein. Since becoming a global brand ambassador in March 2023, he has fronted numerous campaigns for the label.

The 20-piece Jung Kook for Calvin Klein capsule—designed for both men and women reinterprets the brand’s signature essentials through the lens of Jung Kook’s rebellious style, fusing biker-inspired attitude with Calvin Klein’s iconic design heritage.

Anchored in underwear and signature denim, the Jung Kook for Calvin Klein capsule spotlights ’90s-inspired silhouettes, including the trucker jacket, straight-leg, and low-rise baggy styles, paired with graphic tees, sweatshirts, and a racer jacket. The collection’s ‘worn-in edge’ is underscored by distressed denim finishes and racing stripe accents.

The capsule also features exclusive ‘CKJK’ branding, interior woven labels, hidden embroidery, Jung Kook-inspired graphics, and custom denim washes, complemented by special packaging that adds depth and collectability to the range.

According to David Savman, Calvin Klein’s global brand president, ‘This collaboration unites two cultural powerhouseJung Kook’s undeniable influence with Calvin Klein’s iconic design codes to deliver something truly impactful.

“Through Jung Kook’s perspective, the partnership takes on a more personal dimension, drawing from his individuality and passion for motorcycles, all filtered through the Calvin Klein aesthetic. Together, we’re reimagining the brand’s icons for today in a way that feels authentic, culturally resonant, and globally compelling”, he added.

Speaking on the collaboration, Jung Kook said ‘Working with Calvin Klein over the past few years has allowed me to express myself through the brand’s iconic style. This project has been especially exciting, as it gave me the chance to explore a more personal and creative side of our partnership.’

“As my first fashion collaboration, I wanted to immerse myself fully in the creative process, working closely with Calvin Klein’s design team to leave my imprint on every piece. The capsule feels true to my style and my love of riding, and it represents a meaningful way to craft something lasting through both design and storytelling,” he added.

The Jung Kook for Calvin Klein capsule will drop on May 20, available at calvinklein.com/CKJK across select markets, as well as in chosen Calvin Klein stores and through key wholesale partners. Prices range from $29 to $699.
