Electronics Weekly has announced two new virtual events for 2026, both focused on how artificial intelligence is reshaping electronics design, infrastructure, and energy management.
Energy Efficiency for the AI Age
Planned for October 2026, Energy Efficiency for the AI Age is aimed at engineers and technologists integrating AI or Edge AI into current design projects, as well as those responsible for managing the growing power demands of AI workloads in data centres.
The event will focus on scalable and sustainable approaches to handling the large and highly variable energy requirements associated with AI, particularly in high-performance and data-centre environments. To support a global audience, sessions will run at different times throughout the day, making it accessible to attendees worldwide.
AI and EDA
The second event, AI and EDA (date yet to be confirmed), is designed for electronics design engineers and engineering managers interested in how agentic AI can improve productivity across the design cycle. The programme will explore whether AI can unlock new opportunities for design innovation, while also addressing how it can be applied effectively in real-world engineering workflows.
This virtual event will feature a series of informative presentations examining current and emerging uses of AI within electronic design automation, with opportunities for discussion and knowledge sharing
