Yomi Tejumola is the Founder and CEO of Algomarketing, a company focused on helping enterprise teams integrate AI-proficient talent to drive transformation and unlock growth.

With a background as a data scientist and marketing technologist, Tejumola spent over a decade working with leading global enterprises to optimize operations, automate workflows, and generate data-driven insights. Over time, he observed a growing challenge: marketing teams were increasingly burdened by administrative tasks, hindering creativity and strategic focus.

This realization led to the creation of Algomarketing. The company’s mission is to enable marketing teams to move beyond routine execution by providing access to skilled, AI-savvy professionals

Could you start by sharing your experience at Google and how it shaped your views on AI and machine learning?

My time at Google was transformative. Leading marketing analytics, data science, and automation projects, I saw firsthand how intelligent algorithms could drive smarter decisions, scale campaign execution, and maximize marketing performance. This exposure to cutting-edge technology and innovation influenced my belief in the power of AI to revolutionize marketing.

How did your background in data science and machine learning at Google inspire you to launch Algomarketing?

Working at Google opened my eyes to the potential of AI, and the opportunities that the right talent can offer forward-thinking businesses. Leading initiatives that improved marketing operations through automation and data-driven insights. It was the realisation that Google only had one Yomi that inspired me to set up Algomarketing to ensure a sufficient source of marketing super talent both for Google and beyond. Today, Algomarketing operates across 35 countries, deploying a global network of Algos into big tech brand marketing operations such as Google, OpenAI and Zoom, ultimately delivering deeper insights, faster decisions, and streamlined processes that scale operations, grow pipeline and boost productivity. Our team of Algos are key for enterprise companies who want to future-proof their business.

Launching Algomarketing has meant I can work on a concept I’m passionate about. Creating a world where the ‘Evolved Worker’ is a reality, where professionals can seamlessly integrate AI and automation into their work to achieve exponential gains in productivity and creativity.”

Algomarketing focuses on restoring joy to the workplace by automating repetitive marketing tasks. Can you elaborate on how AI and automation are transforming the day-to-day work for marketers?

AI and automation are game-changing for marketers, taking over repetitive and time-consuming tasks, so they can focus on more strategic and creative activities. AI isn’t replacing jobs but elevating them. Roles are evolving into more strategic positions, for example, SEO Specialists becoming AI-Enabled Growth Strategists, guiding AI to align with business goals. This not only increases efficiency but also enhances job satisfaction by freeing up marketers to engage in more meaningful and impactful work. It’s not just about working smarter, it’s about making the workday a rewarding journey.

What makes your approach unique compared to your competitors?

Our approach is unique because we provide teams with talent-ready solutions. Our AI-enabled B2B marketing talent, our ‘Algos’, can seamlessly integrate into enterprise-level businesses’ day-to-day operations. We’re also very flexible with this offering, so we can work in various different ways to blend our teams to deploy best practices in AI, technology, and demand generation, amplifying impact.

So really, it’s our people that set us apart! We have such amazing people and an amazing culture, it is truly special. The people we have at Algo inspire me and drive me every day.

Could you share insights on how AI-driven decision-making is transforming the customer journey, especially with personalized content and predictive analytics?

AI-driven decision-making is revolutionizing the customer journey by enabling highly personalized content and predictive analytics. We use AI to analyze customer data and predict future behaviors, allowing us to tailor marketing strategies to individual preferences and needs. This results in more relevant and engaging customer experiences, driving higher conversion rates and customer satisfaction.

How does Algomarketing’s AI solutions integrate into existing MarTech stacks, and what benefits have clients seen in terms of ROI and efficiency?

The marketing stack is evolving and traditional platforms will become backend tools, with AI agents handling automation. Interactions will be through natural language interfaces, making workflows more intuitive.

At Algomarketing, our AI solutions are designed to seamlessly integrate into existing MarTech stacks, enhancing their capabilities without disrupting current workflows. Our seamless approach combines AI-driven insights, advanced MarTech and SalesTech, and precise demand generation to elevate a teams’ impact.

Clients have seen remarkable benefits, such as AI-driven budgeting tools that are four times more efficient in allocating budgets compared to previous methods.

With AI increasingly taking on tasks traditionally done by humans, how do you balance automation with preserving human creativity and strategic input in marketing?

Balancing automation with human creativity and strategic input is essential. We’re entering a new era where humans and AI collaborate to form the ‘Evolved Worker’. By offloading mundane tasks to AI, we can think and create in new ways, fundamentally transforming how we work. I truly believe that AI should augment human capabilities rather than replace them. By automating repetitive tasks, we free up time for marketers to focus on creative and strategic activities. This synergy between AI and human ingenuity leads to more innovative and effective marketing strategies.

What do you see as the next big trend in AI and machine learning that will further revolutionize marketing in the next 5 years?

I think one of the most interesting trends that we are seeing is that traditional workforce models are being disrupted. There are skills gaps, flexibility demands and of course, AI advancements that are continually reshaping the organizational landscape. So, for marketing teams that want to stay ahead, having access to agile talent is going to be key for longevity and success.

.Lastly, as a visionary entrepreneur, what advice would you give to other leaders aiming to harness the power of AI and automation in their industries?

My advice to other leaders is to embrace the potential of AI and automation while maintaining a focus on human-centric values. Invest in continuous learning and stay updated with the latest advancements in AI technology. Foster a culture of innovation and encourage your team to experiment and take calculated risks. Most importantly, ensure that AI and automation are used to enhance human capabilities and create value for both your business and your customers.

Thank you for the great interview, readers who wish to learn more should visit Algomarketing.
