A new industry accolade, the Elettronica Award 2026, has been launched to recognise component manufacturers that demonstrate technological excellence, strong collaboration, operational reliability and a meaningful contribution to Italy’s electronics market. Open to manufacturers represented in Italy, the awards will be decided through the votes of distributors, design engineers, OEMs, EMS providers and end users, based on their professional experience during the preceding 12 months.
Awards will be presented across eight categories: Analog Semiconductors; Digital Semiconductors; Passives; Connectors; Electromechanical; Power Supplies & Power; Embedded, Wireless & IoT; and Optoelectronics. Manufacturers will be rated against five criteria covering commercial collaboration, technical and application support, supply-chain reliability, product innovation and technological vision, and the quality of their marketing and communications.
“This year’s edition brings together an impressive field of 170 manufacturers from across the electronics sector, each demonstrating outstanding expertise, technological vision and a commitment to advancing electronic design and production. Their participation reflects the vital role they play in driving progress and raising standards throughout the industry,” said Antonio Cirella, organiser of the Elettronica Award.
Voting opens on 1 September and closes on 23 October 2026, with the winners announced at the IES – Industrial Electronics Summit in Milan, Italy, on 30 November. The initiative is organised by FW Communication, publisher of Elettronica AV and Elettronica TECH, under the patronage of ANIE Componenti Elettronici.
