Huda Kattan Reacquires Full Ownership of Huda Beauty

Huda Beauty has announced a monumental shift-the company has reclaimed full ownership as an independent brand, a move that is not just a business decision, but a testament to the power of entrepreneurship and determination. In 2017, TSG Consumer acquired a minority stake in the company. In 2025, Huda Kattan, Founder and co-CEO of Huda Beauty, officially repurchased her equity, regaining complete control of the brand.

With this move, Huda Beauty becomes a fully independent company, joining the ranks of rare founder-owned brands in the beauty space. This milestone marks a powerful new chapter for the brand, reinforcing its dedication to innovation, a commitment that will continue to drive the brand forward and bring exciting new products and experiences to its community. It also reaffirms its commitment to a founder-led vision.

In an official statement released by the company, Huda Kattan called it a “deeply very important moment” for her. Kattan emphasised the significance of the move, particularly for entrepreneurs with ambitious visions. “It says that while many of us dreamers have visions that we are told are too big or not possible to do alone, in actuality, you have all the power you need to change the world yourself!” she remarked.

Kattan founded Huda Beauty, building it on principles of “passion, creativity, and a desire to challenge the beauty industry.” Looking ahead, she reiterated her commitment to the brand’s core values and its community. “As we step into this new chapter, I’m more committed than ever to pushing boundaries, staying true to our roots, and showing up for our incredible community every step of the way,” Kattan stated.

Since its inception, Huda Beauty has revolutionised the beauty space, blending artistry with innovation to create a brand that resonates globally.
