They announced this feature on Threads, with the caption, “about to be even more unserious in the DMs…”.
Followed by, “Now you can doodle and drop stickers and emojis all over your DMs 🎨🖌️”.
The “Draw” feature allows you to turn your chats into canvas by adding a personal touch.

- Open Instagram and tap on the direct message icon on the top right.
- Navigate to the chat you want to send a drawing to.
- Tap on the “+” icon (on the extreme right of the message field).
- Select “Draw” and draw anywhere on your screen.
- Tap on the arrow icon to send the doodle!
