Marimekko, the Finnish lifestyle design house, has joined forces with Hong Kong-based tech accessory brand Casetify to introduce a new collaborative collection arriving on May 18, 2026. The collection merges Marimekko’s iconic print heritage with a curated range of modern lifestyle accessories.

The collection showcases four distinctive prints from Marimekko, underscoring the brand’s enduring connection to floral design. It features the iconic Unikko pattern, created by Maija Isola in 1964, alongside two modern floral designs from 2024—Kukasta kukkaan and Lemmitty by Erja Hirvi. The classic Marimekko logo is also incorporated throughout the product range.

The range spans everyday tech essentials, from phone cases and tablet sleeves to smartwatch bands and cardholders. The pieces will be sold worldwide via Casetify’s online store. Overall, the collaboration is designed to balance practical protection with the kind of aesthetic self-expression embraced by both brands’ global audiences.

“We’re excited to unveil our collaboration with Casetify, bringing the art of printmaking into everyday life in fresh and inspiring ways,” said Sanna-Kaisa Niikko, chief marketing officer of Marimekko. She added that the products are designed to accompany users through both travel and daily routines, conveying a sense of optimism through colour.

Building a Unified Strategy for Global Market Expansion

Kei Chan, vice president of marketing at Casetify, characterised the collaboration as a natural evolution of the brand’s mission to view accessories as a canvas for self-expression. By incorporating the iconic prints of Marimekko, the tech-lifestyle brand offers its community pieces that combine everyday functionality with artistic design.

Since launching in 2011, Casetify has protected over 20 million devices and grown to more than 75 retail locations, complete with its creative Casetify Studio hubs. Marimekko, founded in 1951, wrapped up 2025 with 190 million euros in net sales and a strong 17.1% comparable operating profit margin.

Marimekko’s global presence keeps expanding, now spanning over 170 stores and e‑commerce services in 39 countries. The company employs about 490 people and is concentrating its growth in Northern Europe, North America, and the Asia‑Pacific region.

Blending Marimekko’s timeless design language with Casetify’s contemporary approach to tech accessories, the collaboration marks a dynamic new chapter in expressive, print‑driven style. The upcoming collection offers a thoughtful balance of artistry and utility, inviting fans to elevate their devices with pieces that feel both beautifully crafted and effortlessly modern. It’s a partnership that reimagines everyday essentials through the lens of bold, iconic design.
