Within Advertising Settings, click on Creative Features.
Some advertisers have the box checked to test new creative features.
If you do, you may have this new option: “Promotional text with product repositioning”
What Is It?
Here’s how Meta describes it:
Your product will be repositioned and promotional text will be embedded in your creative.
Meta shares an example of creative where the product is moved to the right and positions promotional text “Sale” to the left of it.
Open Questions
It seems reasonable. But I have a lot of questions.
Is this only for catalog ads, or can it include single image? What are examples of promotional text that Meta might use? Can this be customized in any way?
I assume the promotional text Meta adds to creative would be pulled from the text you provided. While the example Meta shares is basic and innocent, the potential for issues seems reasonably high.
But that’s why it’s a test feature, and you can always turn it off.
