The ask:
The NBA’s global brand partnerships team needed help.
All-Star Weekend was fast approaching in Indianapolis, and they wanted to host a standout welcome event for 1,000+ corporate sponsors.
The only problem? They were six weeks out. And the clock was ticking.
We were brought in by our local Pacers contact to make it happen.
The challenge:
The venue had already been selected, Skyline Club, a private space at the top of the One America Tower.
Elegant, yes. But it wasn’t event-ready. We had to transform it from scratch.
No creative direction. No entertainment lined up. No second chances.
The approach:
We went end-to-end:
- Full venue takeover: Cleared the space and reimagined the layout from top to bottom.
- Layered guest experiences: Champagne and live jazz on arrival. Roaming feathered dancers. A surprise aerialist mid-evening.
- The unexpected twist: Midway through, guests were guided to a hidden basement theater. A live swing band. Pro dancers. Logoed shot luge. Gourmet popcorn bar. Full bar still going strong.
Every detail was designed to keep the energy building—and the cameras rolling.
The outcome:
- Rave reviews: Guests called it the most memorable event of the weekend.
- Client win: The lead sponsor (initially nervous about budget) got promoted shortly after the event.
- Boss converted: Even the skeptical French executive—who had considered pulling the plug—asked if we could extend the party.
Takeaway:
Give us your timeline, your target, and your trust.
We’ll take it from there.
