You can do things like drag images from Google Photos or links from Chrome and drop them right into your Messages.
Follow these easy steps to try drag and drop:
- Make sure your Pixel 10 Pro Fold is on split screen mode (check out these instructions if you aren’t familiar with how this is done). Then you can begin using drag and drop.
- To move text using drag and drop: Long press on the desired text in one app until it’s highlighted. Then, drag it across the screen divider and release it into a text field in a second app, like a messaging or notes app.
- To move images or files using drag and drop: In a supported app like Google Photos or a file manager, long press on the media you want to move. A preview of the item will appear under your finger. Drag the preview over to the second app and release it where you want it placed. For example, you can drag a photo directly into a social media post you’re drafting.
