The Pixel 10a is already positioned as an ultra-affordable phone from Google, and recent leaks paint it as a capable one, at that. The latest reports state that Google is sending out discount codes to users before the full Pixel 10a launch tomorrow, making it even harder to pass up.
There’s little we don’t know about Google’s Pixel 10a, other than its price. The company’s more affordable Pixel lineup has historically been priced several hundred dollars cheaper than the leading options. The phones have also been solid options from a hardware perspective, and recent leaks suggest the Pixel 10a will bring a 5,100mAh battery, a nice display, and a solid camera system.
According to recent reports from several users on Reddit and Android Authority, Google appears to be sending out discount codes ranging from $50 to $150 off the Pixel 10a. One user noted that three different emails they use received $50 discounts, while one reportedly got a $150 code. The latter and largest code seems to be a rarity.
We have not seen any such codes grace our inboxes here at 9to5Google.
Google’s criteria for the codes are unclear. A common theme appearing throughout the thread looks to be Pixel 6a, with users with emails attached to that device getting codes. In another instance, one commenter noted that an email they used to sign up for Pixel 9a notifications was sent a $50 code.
If the Pixel 10a were to launch for somewhere around $500, then getting up to $150 off is a big deal. That’s a deal that requires no trade-in, boosting the value further. The most common discount code appears to be $50 off the Pixel 10a, which is nothing to shy away from.
Google is expected to launch the Pixel 10a on February 19. As much as we know already, it genuinely looks like it’s going to be a standout option in 2026. Especially among price hikes on devices across the board.
