Celebrating the professionals who give others the spotlight.
During the PR Daily Awards and Top Agencies Awards ceremony in New York City Tuesday, hundreds of PR professionals stepped out of their usually behind-the-scenes roles to get the recognition they deserve.
“This year has reminded us quite loudly that communicators are not simply part of the organization,” Ragan Communications CEO Diane Schwartz told the crowd at City Winery. “You are the connective tissue that keeps it healthy and aligned.”
During acceptance speeches, PR practitioners acknowledged the difficulties 2025 has brought — but took pride in the results they achieved even under the most unpredictable circumstances.
“This year, we really learned about resilience,” said Yolanda Brignoni with the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation during her acceptance speech for Nonprofit Campaign. “We learned the value of community, we learned the value of coming together, and we really did live Elizabeth Glaser’s mantra: one person can make a difference.”
