I also found the AI-powered features, like automated insights and trend detection, surprisingly helpful for uncovering conversations I wouldn’t have found on my own.

I could log in, run a keyword search, and pull up relevant TV and radio clips almost instantly. G2 user feedback frequently mention the same thing: a platform that’s approachable and gets the job done. The ability to scrub through a broadcast, jump straight to the moment your brand was mentioned, and download a clean clip for reports is exactly what I needed; TVEyes delivered.

What drew me in is how up-to-date and comprehensive the journalist database is, making it easier to find the right reporters and build meaningful media relationships. 92% of G2 users rated Muck Rack’s media database highly, with many praising how it helps identify media opportunities and potential influencers.

One of its biggest strengths is the media database search. I was able to filter by beat, publication, and location and find accurate contact info without having to dig through outdated spreadsheets. G2 review data frequently mention how well the platform covers the U.S. market, with profiles that are regularly updated and detailed enough to save PR pros hours of manual work. 84% of users also rated its contact and campaign management positively, highlighting how it simplifies outreach efforts and influencer relationships without switching tools.

I also appreciated the real-time media monitoring, which stood out to both me and many G2 customers. That said, some G2 reviewers mentioned that a few profiles are incomplete or slightly outdated, especially outside the U.S. market. While this doesn’t significantly detract from the overall utility, broader and more consistent coverage could improve global user confidence.

I also noticed that the media analysis reports, while useful, could go deeper in terms of insights and customization. Several G2 users mentioned that while the available templates are clean and functional, they currently offer limited flexibility in terms of visual customization. This may be a minor limitation for teams that prioritize brand-specific formatting for leadership decks.
