The energy was high, the conversations were critical and the media interest was off the charts. Brookline PR was proud to once again partner with dmg events for the Global Energy Show Canada 2025 (GESC 2025) – and what a remarkable week it was!
Held from June 10–12 at Calgary’s newly expanded BMO Centre, GESC 2025 brought together thought leaders, innovators, policymakers and companies from around the world to talk about what’s next for energy in Canada and beyond. From oil and gas to nuclear, hydrogen, geothermal and hydro-electric, the diversity of perspectives was as wide-ranging as the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead. As Canada’s annual national energy event, the Global Energy Show continues to set the bar.
Brookline PR was proud to work behind the scenes supporting dmg events with strategic media relations, crisis communications and onsite event coordination.
Before the show even opened its doors, the Brookline team was busy building momentum with pre-show media coverage that helped frame GESC 2025 as a platform for one of Canada’s biggest and most important energy events.
Over the course of the three-day conference, our team remained true to our Brookline pillars: solid, fresh, creative and professional – running the press office, supporting media scrums with high-profile speakers, facilitating interviews across TV, radio and print, and ensuring journalists had what they needed to tell the story of GESC 2025.
The momentum didn’t stop when the conference ended. Post-event, Brookline continued media outreach to ensure the key messages and insights from the event reached even further. A total of 784,385,057 media impressions and 1,689 media stories secured, all with 36,387 attendees and nearly 400 exhibitors.
Brookline is incredibly proud of what was achieved alongside the dmg team for this year’s edition and grateful to have played a role in amplifying the conversations that will shape the future of energy in Canada and globally.
