Pixel VIPs just landed with our June Pixel Drop. This new Contacts app widget lets you keep your closest family and friends even closer, displaying details like your last message with them (including those from WhatsApp), upcoming birthdays, real-time location and more.
Try these quick tips on using Pixel VIPs:
- The more information you add about your VIP, the more details you’ll see in the widget! During setup, add their birthday, location and even preferences for the kinds of things you like to do together.
- Your VIPs can share their location with you via Google Maps or the Android Find Hub.
- Keep track of things like gift ideas for your VIPs, events you’ll both enjoy in the memos tab.
- Your VIPs automatically become Favorites or Starred Contacts and bypass Do Not Disturb, so you’ll never miss a moment from them. (Which you can always turn off in settings.)
