Google Flow Music announces partnerships with Believe

As musicians, my bandmates and I started Google Flow Music (formerly ProducerAI) to amplify our own creativity. We wanted a tool that would help us explore, craft and share the music we imagined.

Having built this hand in hand with a small community of artists, we’re now ready to share this creative tool more broadly. We’re partnering with Believe, the global artist development company, to offer Believe and TuneCore’s artists, producers and songwriters AI tools that support their original work.

How we’re working together

Believe is offering Flow Music from Google Labs, to provide their artists with a space for exploration and iteration. Flow Music works as a creative collaborator, helping with lyrics, toying with new melodies or genres and even creating new instruments. So whether an artist is in the early stages of exploring a new direction for an upcoming album or putting the final touches on lyrics, Flow Music is here to help. Google doesn’t claim ownership of the original content generated with Flow Music.

How we’re creating with musicians

Collaboration is central to our work, which is why we want to co-create the future of music technology alongside the artists who use it. As part of this partnership, Believe and TuneCore will select a group of artists and producers to meet weekly with our product team. These ambassadors will have the chance to share feedback and influence the future of Flow Music.

How we’re innovating responsibly

Google’s newest music generation model, Lyria 3 Pro, is the engine behind Flow Music’s cutting-edge capabilities. Lyria 3 Pro was built to understand musical composition, so you can prompt intros, verses, choruses and bridges. It’s great for experimenting with diverse styles, from amapiano to dream pop, generating complex rhythms or even testing out vocals in another language.

Responsibility is integral in the design and training of Lyria 3 Pro, using materials that YouTube and Google has a right to use under our terms of service, partner agreements and applicable law.

The future of music technology will be built by the people who live and breathe it — musicians, producers and songwriters. We can’t wait to hear the incredible sounds this community creates with Flow Music in their hands.
