Pixel 11 Pro XL leak is the most boring one yet, very little changes [Gallery]

We’ve seen a handful of Pixel 11 leaks, being handed out in order from smallest to largest device. Where every other Pixel 11 iteration has changed in some way, the Pixel 11 Pro XL shows almost no alterations in this leak. This first look shows CAD renders of Google’s next largest release.

Courtesy of @OnLeaks and Android Headlines, the Google Pixel 11 Pro XL is getting its time in the spotlight. It isn’t a surprise by any means. The Pixel 11 and Pixel 11 Pro have already been leaked, and if the expected August release timeframe holds true, that means we’re right on schedule.

The CAD renders come complete with dimensions for Google’s big Pixel 11 Pro XL, but they don’t offer much of the same change we’ve seen with previous leaks. At 162.7 x 76.5 x 8.5mm, the phone mirrors the Pixel 10 Pro XL, almost to a tee. The only potential variation we see is in height and width, but even that comes out to 0.1mm and could be a negligible estimate.

The important takeaway is that we’re seeing absolutely no substantial change in thickness, whereas the smaller two in the series bring a slight reduction in size. As we previously pointed out, the Pixel 10 series was actually released with an increase in thickness to accommodate the new Qi2 magnetic array, presumably. With the Pixel 11 and Pixel 11 Pro reducing their pocket real estate by 0.1mm, the two phones are essentially recovering the material savings they lost.

The leak also provides some details regarding the Pixel 11 Pro XL’s display. It notes the phone will stick with a similar 6.8-inch LPTO AMOLED panel. The surrounding technical specs are still fuzzy, and whether that panel will come with slight improvements is up in the air – as is a lot of other information about this phone.

The only other Pixel 11 Pro XL specification that one could predict with confidence prior to leaks at this point is that the phone will equip Google’s Tensor G6 chip. The company is also expected to pair the processor with a new Titan M3 security component and, possibly, a new MediaTek M90 modem.

Ignoring all other rumors, the CAD does present the same all-glass camera bar seen on the Pixel 11 and Pixel 11 Pro. That new design removes the aluminum shielding from the previous models. Glass now takes up more visual space, reverting a design choice introduced when the Pixel 7 added metal to the array. This phone looks more akin to the Pixel 6, with a modern twist. I quite like it.

The Pixel 11 Pro XL is likely to launch in August 2026. Until then, we’re sure to see more leaks with substantial details, and maybe something will actually change.
