Fix 1: Keep clicking the update button
- Open the Riot Client and log in to your account.
- Select “League of Legends” on the left sidebar.
- Keep clicking the update button over and over again until the update completes.
Fix 2: End the task for Riot Games
- Press CTRL + ALT + DEL and select “Task Manager”.
- Select “Details” and search for “Riot”.
